Writers & Poets Open Mic – October

Please make plans to join the Hampden Writers Group for a Writers & Poets Open Mic on Thursday, October 1st, 2026! This casual (free!) event is for anyone who would like to connect with other writers and poets, or just enjoy local literary arts in Baltimore. And Blue Pit happens to have some of the best bbq (and phenomenal cocktails!) around, which will be available downstairs or at the bar during the event, so please support our gracious hosts! If you’d like to share a piece, please arrive by 6pm to be added to the list! You do not need to have attended a previous meeting to share a piece, but please limit readings to about 8 minutes (maximum).
