The Hampden Writer’s Group meets the second Tuesday and third Thursday of each month. The Tuesday meeting is held at Nepenthe Brewingat 6:30pm, the Thursday meeting convenes at 6:30pm at Blue Pit BBQ .

The purpose of the Hampden Writer’s Group is to share and critique written pieces. Members are working on pieces across genre and category, including literary fiction, short stories, novels, poetry, and memoir.
There is also a mailing list used to distribute written works and to remind writers about upcoming meetings and events.
